Company profile
It all started with a Dream
Inspired by the beauty of the earth, our founder, Frank Cunningham, journeyed from Ohio to Arizona with a vision: to create something truly one of a kind—a company shaped by artistry, impeccable craftsmanship, and a deep respect for nature.
From those humble beginnings, we’ve grown into a world-class stone company renowned for our creativity, family spirit, and unwavering commitment to environmental care. We are not just another stone supplier; we’re a rare gem where tradition and innovation meet.
Our diverse, multilingual team welcomes you as family and brings decades of expertise to every project. From sculpting majestic six-foot eagles to designing elegant floors and custom fireplaces, we infuse every detail with warmth, passion, and excellence—making every space as unique as our story.
We believe beautiful design should be an experience everyone can enjoy
Whether you’re a homeowner starting your first remodel or a designer envisioning a masterpiece, we welcome dreamers, builders, and visionaries—anyone who values quality and craftsmanship. As a passionate team with a truly one-of-a-kind approach, we love helping others create something extraordinary. Every visitor is treated like family, and every project—large or small—receives our full attention and care.
Our Legacy
For over 50+ years, Durango Stone has set the standard for working with natural stone. As a family-owned company led by our founder—a master craftsman educated in Italy—we are passionate about sharing the world’s finest materials, carefully sourced from our exclusive Mexican quarries, with discerning clients across Arizona and beyond.
